Gothic clothing shop - imprintAbout us - The Black Angel online shop

The Black Angel is an online shop for gothic clothing that has been providing customers all over the world with great brands and friendly service, since 1999, when Tessy opened the first street store in Luxembourg, to provide the local scene with a fresh and constant supply of dark clothing and jewelry. Providing good quality clothing and friendly service have been our mission since day one, and we have applied the same principle to our online shop when we went online in 2001: make you feel like shopping at your favorite local gothic shop, by providing personalized and friendly service, hassle free returns, and secure payment options. And of course fast shipping.

To contact us we recommend using our contact form, sending an email or calling. For all merchandise returns or regular mail contact, please send to our office address below. Please note that this is NOT a street retail store, we have no customer show-rooms and can unfortunately not welcome customers here at the office. We have been a pure online shop since 2007, and can only sell you goods over the Internet.

Our team

Our team is like a family, and most of us have been working together for over a decade. We all have our specialties and responsibilities, but what we all have in common is our passion for goth fashion: every piece of clothing, every accessory, necklace, bracelet or glove has been hand-picked by someone from our staff. We only sell apparel we love to wear ourselves, which we can endorse wholeheartedly, because it's authentic, it's creative, the quality is right, and it feels great to wear. Those are our selection criteria.

Founder, owner, the creative mastermind in our team. She is like a chameleon that constantly changes it's appearance, constantly reinventing herself in various shades of black. Her own closet if filled to the brim with marvelous apparel and accessories, so it was only logical to put her in charge of picking the very best outfits just for you. She's also makes sure our team is happy, by frequently providing us with homemade pastries... so come to the dark side, we've got cookies (seriously, we do!).

Dan is our multi-lingual talent, providing you all with customer service in no less than four different languages: English, German, French and Luxembourgian. If you ask nicely, he might even reply in Norwegian, and bits of Spanish. Olà! If you receive an email from us, it's probably him. He also takes care of all the content of this website, the product descriptions, and even the coding.

Mister Denial

Our staff photographer and ex-bassist for gothic rock band Pronoian Made. All the photos, product images and graphics on this website, that's him. He is also in charge of commandeering the car stereo when our team attends festivals, providing us with a constant supply of Danzig, Fields of the Nephilim or Sisters of Mercy.

Our warehouse magician who makes the beautiful clothes fit into tiny cardboard boxes so that we can send them to you! She's a black belt in clothes-folding and armed with wrapping paper.

Ozzy and Sharon - they technically don't work here, but this cute little couple of bats have been living in the forest near our offices for the past years, and are often seen fluttering around when we work late shifts and leave the office at dark. They're our mascots, so to say, and we're happy to have them living nearby. The Black Angel tries to operate as "green" as possible, by recycling, by reducing paper work in the office to a minimum, and by using ecological heating. Many bat species are endangered in Europe, so we're happy to have these two little fellows live here, a sign that things are progressing again.

Friends and helpers - and last but not least, a big thank you to all our friends who have helped us over the years, modeling for us, encouraging us, lending us a hand at festivals: George, Martine, Vicky, Ronny, Michaela, Andy, Ms Virus, Fantasio, Dan (the other one), Myriam, Vic Vicious, Jenny Joy, Vampiria Noire, Father Sebastian, Demontaz, Vladi - you are all very awesome.
