Easy and uncomplicated retuns & exchanges for the customers of our gothic store

We have a fairly easy and uncomplicated returns and exchange procedure. One of the main worries when buying clothing over internet is, what happens if an item does not fit, will I be able to exchange it? This is one worry our customers have less, because the answer is clearly yes, you can of course exchange items that are too small or too large.

STEP 1 - CONTACT US

Send us a fax or email within a week after you received the parcel
When you have received your parcel, just try the clothing on and if something should not fit, please contact our team within a week after receipt, either per email or fax. We need a written document to prepare for the return on our end, only a few quick lines to explain what you want to exchange and why will suffice.

STEP 2 - PREPARING THE RETURN

Carefully label the box and put a notice inside explainig the return

We pack our parcels with great care, and we would appreciate if you would do the same. You can reuse the wrapping we use to protect our clothing, and you can also reuse our box, if it is not too worn form the first part of the trip. If it is worn, we would suggest using a new box.

Please put a notice inside the box explaining that you are sending us a return, and why you are returning it. This does not only help our staff to know what the parcel is about when it gets back to us, it will also help the customs understand that this parcel does not need any taxes applied to it. If customs fail to notice that the parcel is a return, they will charge you import taxes, and we don’t want that to happen. Therefore we strongly recommend writing “RETURN” on the outside of the box, in big bold black letters. The bigger, the better.

STEP 3 - SENDING THE RETURN

Chosing the right shipping service to send the goods back

It is the customers responsibility to make sure the parcel arrives back safe to us. We are not liable for losses or damages on the way back to us. Therefore we suggest using a reliable carrier to send the goods, and if you use postal services, you can get insurance for just a few Euros / Dollars. It does not happen often that parcels are lost, but when it happens, it’s best to be on the safe side.

Goods should be shipped back to us within two weeks after receipt of the parcel, at latest one week after having notified us.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT ?

Verifying the returned goods and issuing the replacement / exchange
When we have received the parcel back sound and safe, we will verify that the goods have not been worn or damaged, and if that is okay, we will send you a replacement, at our own expense, thus sharing the costs and risk of ordering wrong size with our customers. This our way of showing we’re in this together with our customers, and we will do our best to make sure you get the right sizes from the start.
