Ok folks, it's that time of the year again, the Wave Gotik Treffen (WGT) is about to happen, it's only a few weeks from now, and thousands and thousands of Goths from all over the world prepare to invade the beautiful city of Leipzig during 4-5 days for the biggest Gothic Gathering in the world. From May 25th to May 28th the WGT will take over the city of Leipzig, with dozens of concert locations spread all over the city, gothic events taking place everywhere, parties taking place in locations like the Darkflower Club or Moritzbastei, and even the movies show gothic-themed films, new stuff from the horror genre, or old classics from Hammer.
Many dozens, no almost hundreds of bands will perform live, from all music styles, EBM, goth, electro, rockabilly, deathrock, you name it they play it! And the nicest part of it is the mood, the relaxed mood that reigns - if you ever wanted to know how it would feel if the whole world was goth, here's your chance - because we're everywhere, in every street, every club, every pub, every restaurant and every shop - goths are everywhere during those days. No feeling uneasy because of your styling, not feeling like a freak or weirdo, you can dress up as much as you want, nobody will give you funny stares.
The WGT is like you died and came to gothic heaven. So don't miss it.
