Sizing guide - find the right size for your clothing

The sizing guides for the clothing available for our store is a general guide that will help customers estimate which size they need. It is not an absolute guide, and we recommend to contact our team prior to ordering if you have any doubts. We sell European brands, the sizing is similar to US sizes, maybe a tad smaller.

The simplest solution is to include your measurements (height, weight, chest or waist) in the "notice to us" field when ordering, then our team will double-check the sizes for you.

Use our sizing guides to find the best fitting size for all gothic clothing available in our online store. Or send us your measurements, and we will check for you.

HOW TO MAKE SURE I ORDER THE RIGHT SIZE ?

!

Answer: we know how difficult it can be to order clothing over internet, and how big the fear is, that the size would not fit right. This is why we offer you the possibility to send us your measurements per email, we will measure the clothing for you and thus make sure it will fit perfectly well when you receive it, thus avoiding the fear of getting the wrong size, and the hassle of going through an exchange - although our exchanges policy is quite simple and easy. Anyways, in case of doubt, just contact our team and send us an email with your measurements, we will take care of finding the right size for you.

You can also just place your order and pick your usual size, then add your measurements to the "notice to us" field during checkout - we will double check size for you before shipping your order.

SIZING CHART

!

Important: because every brand and label has a different way of interpreting the same size, there always are slight differences between clothing with the same sizing label. A size “M” can sometimes be bigger, sometimes smaller. So this chart is not an absolute truth, it is an approximation, it is the averages for the clothing we carry in our gothic shop. It is just a guide. In case of doubt, you should still contact our team.

Sizes for trousers are always indicated in inches and refer to the waist measurement, just like with a regular jeans size.

XS - S - M - L - XL

!
What do these abreviations stand for ?

XS, S, M, L and XL are abbreviations that stand for:

  • XS = extra small
  • S = small
  • M = medium
  • L = large
  • XL = extra large

Size S is for a very slim body build, whereas size M and L will fit most average shaped people. XL is for taller people with a strong build. Please note that these are general references and might vary from item to item. In case of extremely small or large items, this will be noted in the item description. Also, please keep in mind that these are European sizes, which are a bit smaller than US sizes.

ONESIZE

!

It is a unique size that should fit most average body types.

CLOTHES: Onesize (also known as OS) is a size that will fit most average body builds, ranging from a large size S to a small size L, and everything in between. Onesize items are not available in any other size, it is the only size available from the designers making that item. If your usual clothing size is somewhere between S and L, Onesize should fit you. Please note that these are European averages, and are slightly smaller than their US equivalent. Please refer to the chart below for an estimation of what a size S, M or L corresponds too.

ACCESSORIES: In the case of accessories, onesize means that these accessories are only available in one size that will fit any average person (for bracelets, chokers, etc) or that sizes are not really applicable (for example hairclips, cyberlox, goggles, etc).

S/M - M/L - L/XL

!
What do these abreviations stand for ?

S/M, M/L and X/XL are abbreviations that stand for:

  • S/M = small / medium
  • M/L = medium / large
  • L/XL = large / extra large

S/M means that an item ranges from S to M, so if you have a clothing size S or ranging from S to M depending on the brand, you should opt for this one, whereas if you sometimes need M, sometimes L, you should go for M/L and so on. Please keep in mind that these are European sizes, which are a bit smaller than US sizes.

What do theses figures mean ?
These figures are classic jeans sizes like those found on traditional Levi’s trousers, and are the waist measurement in inches. A size 32” means the trousers have a waist circumference of 32 inches, which is about 81-82 centimeters. If you are unfamiliar with jeans sizes, just measure your waist with a measuring meter, most have both inches and centimeters, so you will be able to figure which size will fit you best.
